Scott Hinson
Co-Owner, CEO
Scott Hinson co-founded H&M Underground Solutions after spending more than 10 years in the small-diameter industrial lining and trenchless rehabilitation industry. Throughout his career, Scott worked closely alongside the team that would eventually become his fellow co-owners, building experience in underground infrastructure, industrial rehabilitation, and field operations across a wide range of projects.
After years of working together in the industry, the ownership group made the decision to build something of their own, a company centered around accountability, communication, safety, and doing the job right the first time.
Today, Scott helps lead H&M with a focus on long-term growth, company vision, and supporting a culture built around dependable work and strong relationships.
John McKenzie
Co-Owner, COO
John McKenzie co-founded H&M Underground Solutions after spending nearly 10 years working in underground utilities, excavation, trenchless rehabilitation, and industrial infrastructure projects. Throughout his career, John worked alongside the team that would eventually become H&M’s ownership group, gaining hands-on experience in both field operations and project leadership.
After years of building projects together, the group made the decision to create a company focused on the kind of culture and operational standards they believed the industry needed, accountability, communication, professionalism, and dependable work.
As Co-Owner and COO, John helps oversee daily operations across the company while making sure crews, leadership, scheduling, and projects are all moving in the same direction.
Marco Maldonado
Co-Owner, VP of CIPP and Safety
Marco Maldonado co-founded H&M Underground Solutions after years of working in trenchless rehabilitation, industrial lining, and underground utility operations alongside the team that would eventually become H&M’s ownership group. Through nearly a decade in the industry, Marco built extensive experience in CIPP rehabilitation, field operations, jobsite safety, and underground infrastructure support across residential, municipal, commercial, and industrial projects.
After working together for years, Marco and the ownership team decided to build a company focused on accountability, professionalism, safety, and creating a stronger culture for both employees and clients.
Today, Marco helps lead H&M’s trenchless rehabilitation and safety operations, ensuring projects are completed responsibly, efficiently, and to the standards the company was built around.
Garrick Mallery
Co-Owner, VP of Sales/Marketing
Garrick Mallery co-founded H&M Underground Solutions after years of working alongside the company’s ownership group in underground utilities, trenchless rehabilitation, and industrial infrastructure projects. Throughout his career, Garrick developed experience in project coordination, client communication, business development, and supporting underground utility operations across residential, municipal, commercial, and industrial markets.
After building projects together for years, Garrick and the ownership team decided to create a company focused on the kind of culture they believed clients and employees deserved, one built around accountability, communication, professionalism, and dependable work.
